We would like to inform customers that, as of the 1st May 2012, Zernebok Hosting will be removing Microsoft's FrontPage Extensions from our shared and reseller hosting servers. Microsoft has not supported the FrontPage Extensions since 2006, and it could potentially be a security vulnerability. It is becoming increasingly difficult for cPanel to continue supporting FrontPage, and as such we have decided the time has come now for us to discontinue support for this software.

If you or your customers are still using a product that relies on the FrontPage Extensions for uploads, we do have several alternative methods through which you can upload files to your site. You can use a standard FTP account, or a secure SFTP account if your software supports it. You can also use WebDAV, known in cPanel as the "Web Disk" feature. cPanel also offers a web-based file manager which you can use to easily upload files.

If the removal of these extensions is likely to be a problem for you, please reply to this e-mail or submit a support ticket and let us know. If you have any other questions about this change, again please let us know.

This change will only affect shared hosting and reseller hosting packages. If you have a virtual private server or dedicated server with us, you will not be affected.
