Dear customer,

This e-mail is to inform you of some upcoming downtime to our VPS service. As mentioned previously, a hard disk on one of our VPS servers had failed, and needed to be replaced. This was carried out last night (26th June) at 23:00 GMT, 24 hours earlier than intended, due to confusion over the time. My apologies therefore for this unexpected downtime and the delay in getting service restored.

The hard disk has now been replaced, but it was also the intention that this downtime would allow for software updates. Therefore, these updates will go ahead as planned tonight, at 23:00 GMT. Downtime may be up to 60 minutes at the most, although it is likely that most work can be carried out while the server is still up - therefore, it may be down for only 10-15 minutes. We shall of course attempt to minimise disruption to your servers.

You can check what time the maintenance is occuring is in your local timezone at http://tinyurl.com/vpsdown.

My sincere apologies again for any inconvenience this may cause, or that may have been caused by last night's maintenance. If you have any queries about this, please submit a support ticket.

Regards,
