I've received a letter from "Domain Renewal Group". Is it legitimate?

We are aware that some customers have been receiving letters from a company called "Domain Renewal Group" asking customers to renew their domain names with them. These letters are made to look like genuine invoices, but involve renewal costs several times higher than what we ourselves would charge. Please be aware that these letters are not from us, and they are simply taking advantage of the publicly-available WHOIS domain database to attempt to trick customers. You should not respond to them, and you should certainly avoid sending them any money.

If you have any concerns or queries about an invoice or letter you have received, please do not hesistate to submit a support ticket to us.
